Azelaic acid is specially designed molecule which is effective on sensitive skin with acnes. Azelaic acid regulates:
sebum excretion,
stimulates keratinization – renewal of skin surface cells,
bacteriostatic activity – it stops development of bacteria on the skin surface, inhibits development of reactive bacterial strains and reduces skin pigmentation.

Peeling step by step:
1. Degreasing of skin surface
2. Application of 1 to 2 coats of the solution - 25% of salicylic acid, 15% of azelaic acid
3. Application of gel with combination of azelaic acid and lactic acid
4. Applications of 1% of retinol peel, which removes spots and has additional effect on acne skin.

Azelaic acid – naturally occurring acid found in grains - barley, wheat and rye
Properties:
- antibacterial properties mean that it kills bacteria effectively
- keratolytic properties relate to the ability of azelaic acid to exfoliate and remove the top layer of the skin and dead cells
- comedolytic properties relate to the ability of azelaic acid to prevent accumulation of natural oils under the skin, formation of comedones and they accelerate removal of dead cells from the skin
- antioxidant properties involve the characteristic of azelaic acid to fight free radicals.
